• What's wrong with websites like worshiparchive.com?

Many chord and lyric sites are not licensed to display or distribute copies of the copyrights on their sites. Under section 106 of Title 17 of the United States Code, the right to reproduce, display or distribute are exclusive rights of the copyright owners. To do so without a license or permission from the copyright owner are acts of copyright infringement. We feel it is unfortunate that these sites are committing piracy.

We recommend CCLI's service "Songselect Advanced" as a great legal alternative. As a member of Songselect Advanced, each church is allowed access to nearly 6,000 leadsheets and can obtain up to 200 songs a year. They can be reached at 1-800-234-2446 or found on the web at http://www.ccli.com . Brentwood Benson Music Publishing also offers a wonderful book that is a great value. It is called "The Praise & Worship Fake Book". It contains over 500 songs and retails for $49.95. You can reach them at 615-261-6500.
