Old Balaam was a prophet
So full of greed and pride
He failed to even stop and pray
Or hide Gods word inside

As many people do
But God sent an angel to talk to him
To prevent him from passing through

So God used a simple donkey
As an instrument to speak
For the donkey was so willing

Balaams eyes were open
The angel he could see

Balaam said Im sorry I will turn around today

He went to share Gods word
And the donkey helped him clearly see
Gods message he had heard
